Now you can wear Brno modernism.

The Brno_FMW project is a collection of brooches inspired by iconic Brno buildings designed by architects such as Bohuslav Fuchs, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and Ernst Wiesner. Their architectural legacy is reflected in art accessories, using materials and characteristic elements typical of Brno modernism, from iconic villas to ordinary houses.

The aim is to highlight Brno's unique architectural heritage and enable architecture enthusiasts to enjoy its aesthetics in everyday life.

Where to buy

If you're interested in wearing a piece of Brno modernism, you can purchase the brooches at the following places:

The collection of jewellery using the typical morphology and materiality of modernist Brno is unique in its idea and composition. It allows users to express their personal preference in architecture and what is typical for it – modernity.

The materials of the brooches can be found in the main iconic Brno buildings – from refined villas to ordinary civic buildings. Residents or visitors to Brno may not realise it, but that is why it makes sense to highlight this visual element of local modernism or functionalism.

By making the products wearable or usable in everyday life, their owners can visibly communicate Brno's architecture to their surroundings, giving it a new dimension.
